Vancouver Coastal Health Authority confirmed the document as genuine, but said it represents ideas only

Darah Hansen, Canwest News Service  Published: Tuesday, August 11, 2009

VANCOUVER — Vancouver patients needing neurosurgery, treatment for vascular diseases and other medically necessary procedures will wait longer for care as their health authority prepares to cut over 6,000 surgeries under the B.C. Liberals’ post-election plan for health care, New Democrats said Monday.

“This will result in thousands of patients suffering longer in pain and undermine the long-term capacity of public health care,” said Adrian Dix, New Democrat health critic.

Mr. Dix released a leaked document Monday that shows the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority is looking to close nearly a quarter of its operating rooms starting in September and to cut 6,250 surgeries, including 24% of cases scheduled from September to March and 10% of all medically necessary elective procedures this fiscal year.

The plan proposes cutbacks to neurosurgery, ophthalmology, vascular surgery, and 11 other specialized areas. Read the rest of this entry »

This is an article from the Candian Press. It is very entertaining to think that Canada is changing their health care as we in the US want a health care just like what Canada is going to change. Very interesting. Read the rest of this entry »

Healthcare Reform Notes

Posted by obama the antichrist on August 17, 2009

Hi guys and gals I am back finally. i have been doing mission trip stuff so i have had no computer. But anyway, this healthcare reform is completely assinine! Yes we do need healthcare reform. However, if this 1018 page bill is never read fully and understood by all senators then why should we let it pass. The veil is so far over the publics eyes and i think nancy pelosi harry reid and howard dean likes it like that. So here is a letter my friend has wrote our senator. It is really good i think. Marc Chagall (1887-1985) was a Russian-Jewish painter of the 20th Century and one of the best known representatives of the Russian Avant-Garde in the West. Chagall painted in a style all his own, combining elements of Expressionism, Symbolism, Cubism and, to a lesser degree, other Modernist art movements. A prolific and multi-faceted artist, Chagall left behind him thousands of works in many different techniques and media that have established him as one of the foremost artists of the 20th Century.

The Mob Mentality

Posted by dorian on August 16, 2009

is this is the face of anti-health care reform protest? a disturbing picture.
USAlynchingbook3

another disturbing picture.

Alarmist tactics and cheap shots in the ’08 presidential campaign by the neocon base are being deployed in protesting obama’s  healthcare reform bill. one does not need to be prophetic to predict what is predictable. we are talking about the Mob Mentality. americans should not be so ethnocentric. we must compare our country’s health care system with those of our neighbor canada and the continents of europe and australia. their nationalized health care system is serving the needs of their citizens much better than the self-serving insurance companies that we have in this country.  but there’s hope.  just like the ’08 presidential elections, common sense and dignity will win out again. the mob mentality should just be honest. they just don’t like the president ←click on link and the fact that he and his administration is getting this country away from the road back to salem massachusetts, 1692 a.d.

“The main factors that started and fueled the trials were politics, religion, family feuds, economics, and the imaginations and fears of the people…”  http://www.salemwitchtrials.com/salemwitchcraft.html
