Human language is incredibly complex, but one defining feature is the process of adding a prefix or suffix to a word to change its meaning.
For example, adding “hood” to the word “brother” to form “brotherhood”.

Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin continues to make her voice heard across the political spectrum and has jumped into the fray of climate science. With the release of thousands of damaging emails from the world’s top climate scientists and the United Nations Climate Change Conference beginning in Copenhagen, Palin reminded politicians, “Policy should be based on sound science, not snake oil.”

why would non-practicing catholic like me, considered “heathen” by most , especially by my family, remember this day and even go as far as commemorating it with a post?
well, i’m doing this in memory of my mother and grandmother, who were both devoted to the virgin mary. i even resisted the temptation to use the image of the virgin mary in a grilled cheese sandwich and opted for the traditional roman catholic image of the blessed virgin. this is my best effort to date at being reverent.
