I WAS ASKED TODAY IF I WERE TO STAND BEFORE GOD TODAY, IN THIS MOMENT WHAT WOULD I SAY…
IF THERE WERE A “SANTA” I WOULD ASK FOR JUST ONE MORE MOMENT IN THE SUN WITH YOU. ONE MORE KISS, ONE MORE HUG, ONE MORE DAY WITH YOU.
I WAS ASKED TODAY IF I WERE TO STAND BEFORE GOD TODAY, IN THIS MOMENT WHAT WOULD I ASK.
IF THERE WERE A “SANTA” I WOULD ASK WHY TAKE THE BEST AND LEAVE THE REST. TAKE ME INSTEAD, SEND ME TO “PAY” FOR MY “SIN” I NEVER LIKED THE TERMS ON CREDIT ANYWAY.
ONE THING I KNOW, IF THERE WERE A “SANTA” MY LOVE, YOU WOULD NEVER SUFFER, NOR CRY.
SEE LOVE, THERE ARE NO LENGTHS I WOULDN’T GO. PRAYING TO A GOD WITH DEATH EARS, AND BEGGING, PLEADNG FOR YOU… I WOULD DO. BUT TO WHAT AVAIL?

My wife is a quiet soul. She really is an amazing woman, she is able to step outside the box so to speak ,and see things from all angles. She is slow to speak, and eager to listen. The ol’ Caveman here, struggles daily with temperance, trust, and forgiveness. I lack the grace and inner strength that make up her being.
While visiting with my dad this weekend, I shared with him how much I admire her consistency in these areas. Read the rest of this entry »

I have to admit I am still a Slumdog Millionaire fan! My wife teases me, over my having to read the book 3 times and watch the movie 2 times…so far!
Vikas Swarup, author of the book on which the film is based captured me up in the colourful tale of how an 18-year-old boy from the slums manages to win one billion rupees on a television game show, was ticking along at a perfectly average rate before Boyle filmed it for the big screen as Slumdog Millionaire, selling some 35,000 copies since publication three years ago, according to book sales monitor Nielsen BookScan.
This ol’ Caveman is so happy over the film’s triumph at last night’s Academy Awards, where it picked up gongs including best film, best director and best adapted screenplay, means sales of the book are set to climb even higher.
If you haven’t read the book… you should!
If you haven’t watched the movie… you should! Read the rest of this entry »

The Road to Socialism
Host, “Glenn Beck“

It’s official–I may have spent too much time in New York City these past few years, because I’m actually beginning to think about things like a New Yorker. For instance, life with our new President Barack Obama is beginning to feel a lot like being in a taxi, stuck in rush hour traffic: You’re not crazy about the guy behind the wheel, not only do you not like where you’re going (you are trapped in Manhattan after all), but you can’t understand the route he’s taking to get you there, and the whole thing is costing you a small fortune. Yes, a cab ride in the big city is like being on The Road to Socialism. Read the rest of this entry »

Denis Beaudoin, the man who says he could be the biological father of Nadya Suleman’s octuplets, said he donated his sperm to her three times without asking questions because he was young and in love. Young, dumb, and blinded by love is how he should have worded that! Beaudoin said he thought it was “out of the ordinary” when she asked him to donate. Caveman says “No shit Sherlock!” Read the rest of this entry »

“Senator Roland Burris, who was appointed by Governor Blagojevich, could be in trouble for perjury and for giving conflicting statements in his testimony about campaign contributions. That’s the trouble with politicians. They think the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth are three different things.” –Jay Leno
“Bristol Palin, Governor Sarah Palin’s daughter, in a recent interview said, “A year ago, I never would have thought I would become a mom or that my mom was going to be chosen to be a vice presidential candidate. Oddly enough, both things happened because some guy failed to take the proper precautions.” –Jay Leno

Today I found my wife’s hidden stash! I have noticed before that she seemed to wear a different pair of shoes almost everyday, but I would never have guessed just how many pairs of shoes she has!
