In lieu of punching the dog, (instead of my husband) I’m going to vent. My husband is lazy and clueless. it’s the end of the week, we both work full time; his job is much more forgiving than mine and he can work from anywhere he wants. the last two days, he’s worked from home. the last few weeks we’ve been super busy with kids and long weekends and weekends away; as a result, the house keeping has been neglected. I am by no means a clean freak but when a house gets “dirty” – (bathrooms, floors, dust, etc) it bugs me until I have a chance to clean it. so, my vent…. my husband spends the last two days sitting around on his a$$, does not contribute one *&^% minute of his time to helping out with the house work and THEN, as I’m bent over the dust pan this evening sweeping the kitchen floor (getting ready to mop), he cops a ‘reach around’ on the way to the fridge to get himself another beer. I am so furious with him right now I’m shaking. can anyone else out there tonight relate??? If our son didn’t have his friend over I would have torn a strip off him. why are men so freakin’ dense????

Men are dense (and sometimes women too). He may truly not have a clue. When you are calm, sit down with him, or maybe write it all down, and just let him know how you feel.

Okay. Wait a minute here…. This is something I have wondered for quite a bit.
Some time ago, only men used to work in the household and women only had to do chores around the house, now, women do both of the tasks, so wouldnt it be better if women choose (the choice is there) to do only one task (choose yourself, which one)?
If you had a choice, which one would you choose? Work? Or stay at home and help around the house?
My two cents – I would stay at home and look after the kids; I guess, they would be the best investment I would have in my lifetime anyways..
