How pretty do you feel?

Hey there Ladies!  How pretty do you feel today?

A new study reveals a link between fertility levels and women's propensity to seek out new partners.
A new study reveals a link between fertility levels and women’s propensity to seek out new partners.

Your fertility level controls how pretty you feel, and may inspire you to go off in search of ever more desirable men, according to a new study published by the crack research team at the University of Texas at Austin.

Apparently, when young women are packing plenty of an oestrogen known as estradiol (which spikes when ladies are oozing with “reproductive health”) they feel hot. So hot, in fact, that they’re “not easily satisfied by their long-term partners,” and reported “a greater likelihood of flirting, kissing and having a serious affair with someone other than their primary partner and were marginally more likely to date another man,” according to the study’s literature in the Royal Society Journal Biology Letters. Not only were the study’s hopped-up-on-hormones women more likely to call themselves attractive, other people found them hotter, too.

Okay, now 5 full minutes after laughing about this uh, ok. Personally, when my biological clock (which is broken but for about an hour it ticks loudly after seeing a baby until I realize, wtf? it’s taken me 10 YEARS to get back the body I had before I got pregnant! And diapers and the fact that babies expel large amounts of gross stuff), hormones and/or “reproductive health” times, I really don’t want any male talking to me. I don’t feel hot (and likely these women feel bothered too, hmm?) unless you count the fact that my internal temperature is raised.

I dunno, I think they got this study really, really wrong. New man, seriously? Did they ask 17 year olds? Coming from my old lady status of early 30’s, I can’t see it. I’d rather have the guy that sticks around when you’re sick, pissed off at the world and you’re crying then some “hot” dude with muscles. Or they got a really crappy group to interview. Either way, I think I’m going to be amused all day.

always something for and about the ladies, eh lawman? you’re funny. it’s primal instinct, true for some females some not so true. personally (when i was a lot younger) i noticed that when the hormone level is high (ovulation period) that’s when i would sing “i feel pretty” and go out and flirt and fandango away the ants in the knickers. so guys, that’s when you sleep with the one eye open, when she’s ovulating. while she’s pregnant and right after giving birth typically the ambivalent feelings for the male species come. and why was the female seahorse so blessed??
