I just saw South Park’s Dances with Smurfs episode. That show frequently is right up with what’s in current news.
There’s a clip from that episode at http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/255340
that mentions the book “Going Rogue on the Smurfs”
Even though I don’t like Sarah Palin as a person and especially disagree with, well, just about anything she says, she was very classy in a recent surprise appearance on the Tonight Show with William Shatner.
I don’t have the hang yet of embedding video clips or images directly into these posts. I know, Google is my friend… If there are tutorials on how to do these things in WordPress blogs, I will find them.

Even though she was classy on that particular appearance, it is still my sincere opinion that it would be DISASTROUS for this country, for humanity in general, and for this planet if Sarah Palin or anyone like her gets into positions of much authority or power.

I love the death panel lie…I love all the lies the proponents to allowing a poor child whose parent makes just a little too much money to qualify for welfare, yet not enough for private insurance and pay the other living expenses of a household. Basically these people against the health care bill are saying to a sick child “You should have been born in a family with more money…better luck next time.” That sounds extreme I know but still, it happens. There are sick men, women, and children in America. There are families who cannot afford a family health care plan, their employers do not offer a employee health care plan short of being on the job. These families pay into the social security, but cannot get medicaid because they make a little too much? And familes that do not pay into the system gets it. Where is the fairness there? But, of course Republican thought would like you to believe it is socialist and communist to help the poor. And many Republicans are Conservative Christians. The new republican symbol should be Scrooge McDuck…
