Best movies of the noughties

Posted by 1minionsopinion on November 8, 2009

There is no spelling mistake there. Noughties is the decade we’re finishing, apparently, and if this movie list from the Times is any indication of my lack of taste, I fart in their general direction.

I haven’t played with a list like this in a while. I’ll bold the ones I’ve seen and italicize the ones I would consider watching. Summaries of the movies are available on site.

plannedparenthoodoffice5Bryan, TX (LifeNews.com) — The former Texas-based Planned Parenthood director who recently quit after seeing an ultrasound video of an abortion says high Planned Parenthood officials wanted her center to meet quotas for the number of abortions done. Abby Johnson had been the director of the Planned Parenthood in Bryan/College Station.

Remember Remember

Posted by Enkill_Eridos on November 8, 2009

Remember Remember the 11th of November. This is a day to honor those that have fought for your freedoms. This is a day to remember those that fought for Queen and Country. It is Veterans day. This day has a long history it is a global Veteran’s day and people from around the world wear Poppies to remember those that have fought in generations past, those that are fighting now, and most importantly those that have given Life, Limb, and in some cases Sanity in the name of Life, Liberty, and the American Way. In of course America and those that did the same for Queen and Country in England. So Remember Remember the 11th of November. Remember to wear your Poppy, see a parade, Drink with a Vet, or toast to all the Vets, or even a moment of silence and reflection. It doesn’t matter how you honor your Vets on Veterans Day, just as long as you take a few moments out of your day to do so.
