Jeff Walker, with his two daughters, tried to adopt, but ultimately turned to surogacy to build a family.

The murder of a 23-year-old Florida woman in a botched drug buy-bust operation this May could lead to changes in how confidential informants are recruited and used by the state’s law enforcement.An official investigation found the Tallahassee Police Department had violated its own rules by recruiting Rachel Hoffman, a Florida State University graduate who was facing a drug charge and likely jail time after arrests for marijuana possession, and sending her alone into a dangerous undercover sting without training. Caveman and a day with the “girls”…

crb434003Today my wife had planned a day out with her 3 nieces ages 12, 15, and 17.  They must have  all been very excited because they came to our house early, like 2 hours too early!  When they arrived my wife had just started breakfast, so they ate with us…caveman doesn’t know what to think of a bunch of giggling girls at the breakfast table, so I went into the study to get away.  They curled each others hair, went thru the wife’s cloths, and put on each others make up. FINALLY they were all ready to head out to the mall or wherever women and girls hang out for a day.

I got to tell you when the door shut, I sighed a long sigh of relief!  Finally, some caveman time to do whatever the hell I wanted!  Not that I had any plans to do anything but sit and watch the History Channel, but hey maybe I wanted to do that in my briefs or maybe run around the cave in my birthday suit!  No, but if I wanted to I thought, damn finally I could without anyone telling me to cover it up! The bloodletting in the c-suite started in 2007. It still hasn’t stopped.

Another year goes by and more chief executives get the ax–probably more than in any previous year. People shook their heads when Charles Prince III at Citigroup and Stanley O’Neal at Merrill Lynch got the boot in 2007. Now it look like they were lucky. They got out just in time.
